2023/10/2

On September 20, the final presentation event (Showcase Demo Day) for this TechSprint took place, with Tajiri from the aSSe22 project delivering a presentation.

The purpose of this event was to effectively address and mitigate the risk of greenwashing in financial services in response to the priority issues of the GFIN, which include Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations and sustainable finance. The aim was to develop tools and solutions that could tackle this issue. This TechSprint, the first of its kind in the world, had been held over the past three months, with participants collaborating with financial authorities to develop prototype solutions. During the Showcase Demo Day, participants gathered to present the proof of concept results before a panel of judges composed of experts and innovators from various industries. During this event, the aSSe22 project presented a prototype model that evaluates whether funds investing in Europe and the UK are conducting ESG investments in compliance with respective regulations.
