A new paper entitled "Secondary Metabolite Differences between Naturally Grown and Conventional Coarse Green Tea" by Kousaku Ohta, Tatsuya Kawaoka, and Masatoshi Funabashi was published in the journal Agriculture.
In this paper, metabolome data of Bancha (coarse green tea) produced in Synecoculture and conventional farming from 2014 to 2019 was analyzed with the use of statistical analysis and public databases, and their metabolic characteristics were clarified. The study showed for the first time the reproducibility of the difference in the effects of both culture conditions on tea metabolites over the course of 6 years.
