2020/10/11-16にバーチャルで開催された、21st annual conference of the International Society for Music Information Retrieval (ISMIR)。今年度、ソニーCSLはプラチナスポンサーとして参加し、ソニーCSLから2本の論文を発表しました。
東京からは、TPDGプロジェクトリサーチャーの赤間健人が参加し、2つの異なるメロディを結合的融合することで新しいメロディを作る、クリエイティブなAI音楽生成の実験と検証について発表を行いました。

Abstract:
We propose a deep generative model that learns to perform Connective Fusion of Sequences.
In experiments we conduct creative AI music generation: creating a new melody by connectively fusing two different melodies.
