「データサイエンスの力で世の中に貢献したい」という思いで研究開発をしています。データ活用の成功が大きなビジネス的インパクトに繋がる可能性に魅力を感じており、そこに携わることに個人的興味があります。そのため、手法を洗練させていくことに加え、社会実装の際に生じる課題の解決も重要であると考えています。実際にデータサイエンスの分野では、機械学習モデルの解釈性や倫理的問題など、実世界に目を向けたときに表出する問題が数多くあります。こういった課題を解決しながら、1つでも多くの実用化事例を増やすことを目標に研究開発を進めていきたいと思っています。

My research is driven by a desire to make a difference in the world with data science. I am fascinated by the ways we might use data to achieve significant business impacts, and I enjoy being involved in research related to this topic. In addition to refining theoretical methods, I also believe it is crucial to tackle the questions that come up when we actually implement our ideas in society. Indeed, in the field of data science, there are many issues that arise when we enter the real world, including the interpretability and ethicality of machine learning models. As I seek solutions to these sorts of questions, my ambition is to advance research and development with as many new applications as possible.
