Vincent Cheung
Vincent Cheung is an associate researcher at Sony Computer Science Laboratories, Tokyo.
He completed his undergraduate studies in mathematics at the University of Warwick, where he was an International Office Scholar. He then pursued a master’s in computational neuroscience at the Bernstein Center for Computational Neuroscience—for which he was awarded the Germany Scholarship (Deutschlandstipendium)—and completed his doctoral studies in psychology at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences. Before joining Sony CSL in 2022,he was sponsored by the Croucher Foundation to pursue postdoctoral research at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica.
His research explores the interaction between human and music with neuroscientific, physiological, behavioural, and data-driven methods.
