Matthias Demoucron

Matthias Demoucron studied physics at Université Pierre et Marie Curie (now Sorbonne Université) in Paris, he obtained a PhD in music technology (?) from Université Pierre et Marie Curie in Paris and Royal Institute of Technologies (KTH) in Stockholm, doing most of his research at IRCAM, Paris, and TMH, Stockholm. Following his PhD, he worked four years as a post-doctorate at Institute for Psychoacoustics and Electronic Music (IPEM), in Ghent, Belgium, with a focus on measuring and analysing music performance. Afterwards, Matthias switched from research to software development, working as a freelancer for projects involving music technology, sound synthesis, and music education. In 2018, he joined the Music team Sony CSL – Paris, where he was initially in charge of prototypes development and technology transfer before taking the lead of the team.
